Dak Lak’s credit and financial system is comprised of seven bank branches and 14 branches and credit funds with upgraded technologies and infrastructure and which are connected to national and international payment networks. In 2005, the total long term and medium term loans granted by credit institutions was VND 1,896,379 million, of which VND 1,500,539 was loaned to the private sector. The value of short term loans was VND 4,658,260 million.

Many large insurance companies opened braches in Dak Lak including Bao Viet and Bao Minh.
